Young members of the Georgian Biotechnology Association, doctoral students in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology at Tbilisi State University, are participating in an international summer school held in Batumi, organized by the Georgian Technical University and Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Participants of the international school undergo specialized training in both theoretical and practical (laboratory) studies in the field of biomedical sciences.
Students have the opportunity to independently conduct laboratory work in the following areas: microbiology, immunochemistry, biochemistry, electrophoresis, and chromatography. The program is designed for students specializing in biotechnology, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary science, agriculture, biochemistry and biotechnology, food technology, and environmental protection.
